Chris joined our team at Kiawah River as the Community Association Manager when he joined Poston Community Management in May of 2022. Chris manages the day-to-day operations of the Community Association as well as having non-exclusive authority over the collection of assessments and other income, payment of expenses, purchasing of goods and services, staffing, accounting, bookkeeping, routine maintenance and operation of the Property.

Chris grew up in Spartanburg, South Carolina. He came to Charleston in 2006 after graduating from Appalachian State University with a bachelor’s degree in Recreation Management and minor in Business. He has earned his Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) designation from the Community Association Institute (CAI). He was previously employed as a property manager on Kiawah Island, SC with 16 years of Hospitality Management experience.

Kass joined our team at Kiawah River as the Resort Amenities Manager with The Beach Company in August 2023. Kass oversees the operations and service offerings for the Spring House and is a seasoned hospitality professional with a diverse career spanning over 15+ years. 

With a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences, Kass has honed her skills in various roles in the hospitality industry. In her most recent roles, including General Manager for Madison Double R and Sales Executive Assistant for the Yellowstone Club, Kass demonstrated a keen understanding of guest needs and a commitment to exceeding expectations. She graduated from Eastern Washington University with a Bachelor’s degree in Recreation and Tourism Management, with a strong emphasis in hospitality operations, and a Minor in Business Administration. 

Taylor joined the Kiawah River team in June 2023 transitioning from a hospitality role at the Jasper, with The Beach Company since 2021. She will coordinate and execute community public and resident events, manage private events and weddings, and act as a resource for incoming and existing Kiawah River residents. Taylor is an experienced event planner with a demonstrated history in food & beverage, event planning, and hospitality management. 

Prior to her time with The Beach Company, Taylor was the Marketing and Events Manager at First Tee – Greater Charlotte, and the Event Planner for Charlotte Country Club in Charlotte, NC.
