Our Story
In the pink-gold light of a saltwater
riverside, a village begins.

WELCOME to Kiawah River, just 15 miles from the Charleston peninsula, beyond the farmstands and fields of vegetables.

Underway and coming soon on Kiawah River’s 2,000 acres are stunning waterfront and village home sites, gathering places fit for field feasts and campfires, a network of trails and village greens, cottages in sun-washed whites, a waterfront lodge, a swim club, a woodland chapel and guest cabins, and a boat landing with a dockside restaurant.

We look forward to sharing our plans with you and we invite you to call the sea islands your home in Fall 2018.

Sincerely,

Carter Redd
Managing Director

pastimes
This is a rare moment for living along 20 miles
of waterfront in the Charleston countryside.

These 2,000 acres of Johns Island are teeming with sea island life—herons and osprey, redfish and oyster beds, oaks and pines, creeks and ponds, and wide spans of marsh grass along the Kiawah River.
