The Third Annual G.O.A.T. 5K Recap

The third annual G.O.A.T 5K took place on the trails of Kiawah River on Saturday, May 13. Over 400 participants enjoyed the picture-perfect weather and the unmatched views of spring in the Lowcountry. Finishers received plants from a local farm in lieu of finishing medals, and Overall and Age Group award winners each received farm fresh produce and goods from local farmers. After the race, participants and spectators enjoyed coffee and biscuits from Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit Truck and a farmer’s market, as well as quality time with the adorable baby goats at The Goatery. As in past years, the G.O.A.T 5K was 100% eco-friendly, and this year proceeds benefited the Lowcountry  Farm Conservation and Make-A-Wish Foundation. We’re proud to be a part of such a fun and unique event. Check out our gallery below and be sure to mark your calendar for next year’s race!
