Farmstead Park

Six acres allocated to foster community unity and fun through a diverse range of activities. One hard-surface tennis court and six pickleball courts, a multipurpose athletic field, specially designed Richter Spielgeräte children’s playground, and two enclosed dog parks all at the heart of Kiawah River.

Kiawah River Farm

Welcome to Charleston’s first agrihood… a neighborhood that fosters farm-to-table living in a cooperative environment. Kiawah River Farm is a working farm partnership with local Johns Island farmers complete with goats, beef cattle, chickens, bees, heirloom produce and flower fields.

Residents of Kiawah River are eligible to participate in Kiawah River Farm’s Community Shared Agriculture (CSA) program. The CSA offers a subscription to receive weekly deliveries from the harvests of our community farmers.

The Goatery & Creamery

These parks, nestled along winding paths and adorned with cozy benches, reveal their own blend of tangible and intangible treasures.

Explore Oak Park’s inviting outdoor dining space, complete with grills and a cozy fireplace. Wander through Jack Island Park, where benches await along winding nature trails encircling Jack Island Lake. Stroll the serene pathways of Old Friends Park, offering tranquil nature trails along the saltwater marsh. At Sea Island Park, savor the outdoors with a grilling and dining area, plus a community kayak launch. These shared greenspaces and intertwining trails, nestled amidst palmetto and oak tree vistas, are a cherished gift for all who call Kiawah River home.

The Landing Riverfront Pier & Boat Launch

Spend your days making new memories along your new home’s waterways at The Landing, home to the community dock and boat ramp. Sitting directly on the Kiawah River, residents can launch their boat from the ramp, or throw a line in the water from the dock. The Landing is another community gathering space that makes a family fishing trip, waterfront fun, or a relaxing sunset cruise easy.
