Valentine’s Day looks a little different in 2021, and we’re completely fine with that. This year, we’re exchanging our dinner reservations for something different. Kiawah River Trails

Bike ride or walk through Kiawah River trails and experience the cool weather of winter, one of the best times of the year to be outdoors. Bring your date to the vistas that overlook the river or settle into a spot in the forest where you can spot wild deer roam around the meadows. Pack a picnic and a bottle of wine as you experience our 2,000 acres of stunning waterfront trails. 

Beachwalker Park

Walk down Kiawah Beachwalker Park with your loved one and share peaceful views of one of the country’s most beautiful beaches. Relax on the soft sands and savor the simplicity of the crashing waves and coastal birds.  

Angel Oak Tree

Kiawah River is just 15 minutes from the Angel Oak Tree on Johns Island, reported to be one of the largest oak trees in the world. This historical site is one of Charleston’s Lowcountry treasures, making it a must-see for locals. Plan a day-date to witness the 65-foot live oakwhich is around 400-500-years-old, and get a romantic photo in front of the beautiful landmark. 

Kiawah River Farm

Take a trip to Kiawah River Farm to play with our adorable goats, chickens, cows, pigs and miniature donkeys. You can book a visit with The Goatery to interact with the animals as you learn more about each of their important roles on the farm. Give our newest calves a wave hello from us while you’re there!
