Kiawah River Residents The Bullwinkels Featured in Garden & Gun

Garden & Gun recently featured Kiawah River residents George and Maggie Bullwinkel as part of their Garden & Gun Land series. In the article, the couple discussed why they chose to buy the bungalow they now use as their sea island retreat.  As George explains, “We were looking for an intimate little spot where we could spend some time together. We wanted a tranquil space that allowed us to get away from the bustle of downtown Charleston but also allowed us to have a little fun.” What they found at Kiawah River is a relaxed space that allows them to enjoy fishing, the community amenities like the Spring House and The Goatery and time spent sitting on their porch, watching the sun set over marsh grasses.
