Escape to a world of carefree intimacy as you experience the charm of The Bungalows.

These cozy, cabin-scale havens offer the perfect sanctuary for a peaceful weekend on the quiet riverfront. Our 11 one-bedroom detached cabins average 800 square feet and are ideal for a carefree romantic weekend getaway or a jumping off point for fishing adventures. Step outside your doorstep to embark on tranquil morning strolls along the sea island trails, or simply bask by the poolside oasis of the Spring House.

Designed by Julia Starr Sanford of Starr Sanford Design, whose architectural vision influenced Alys Beach in the Florida Panhandle and communities such as Mahogany Bay Village in Belize and Las Catalinas in Puerto Rico. Inspired by traditional Lowcountry seaside dwellings, Sanford’s architectural details maximize outdoor living with wide porches, divided-light windows and doors that welcome natural light and cooling cross ventilation.

With interior furnishings by Amanda Lindroth, the homes embrace the cozy cabin scale with natural materials, textured finishes and timeless furniture including ceruse oak flooring, custom cabinetry with polished nickel features, a daybed and a dining room table.
