Spring House Grand Opening Event Recap

With record-breaking sales, numerous ground breakings and new home offerings, 2021 has been an incredible year of progress at Kiawah River thus far. Most recently, we gathered to celebrate the highly anticipated grand opening of our first flagship residential amenity, the Spring House.

Residents and visitors stopped by the Spring House’s Pool Deck to enjoy a day of poolside fun and celebration with live music from Tim Mathias, games, refreshments from The Marker cabana bar and more.

To finish off the exciting day, Kiawah River’s homeowners gathered for a sunset soiree where they sipped refreshing cocktails and enjoyed delicious hors d’oeuvres set to the sweet tunes of Green Levels.

Serving as the community’s gathering place, the Spring House is Kiawah River’s 9,000-square-foot swim and fitness center with a junior Olympic-sized family pool and an adult pool, a full-service kitchen and shaded bar with pool-side dining and programming that caters to a variety of preferences for health, fitness and recreation.

In addition to its swimming pools and dining options, the ground floor features cabanas, a hot tub, an outdoor fireplace with lounge seating and a lower deck overlooking the Kiawah River.

Designed by Charleston-based Beau Clowney Architects, a member of Kiawah River’s Architect Guild, the Spring House’s second level includes men’s and women’s locker rooms with saunas and steam rooms in addition to numerous fitness programs for individual and group activities. Kiawah River residents also have access to a dedicated weight room, top-of-the-line cardio and a group training studio, an area for boutique fitness classes and ample multipurpose space.

Charleston-based design firm Jenny Keenan Design brought the interiors of the Spring House to life with a palette of warm neutrals and pops of color inspired by the Kiawah River landscape by utilizing natural materials such as teak, bamboo and raffia.
