Farm Dance & Budding Homes Tour’s Spring Celebration

For the first time ever, Kiawah River Farmer’s Market opened as part of the springtime celebration at the Farm Dance & Budding Homes Tour on April 3. The occasion welcomed neighbors and visitors to stroll the market’s Charleston products and produce, grab a bite to eat from food trucks and get a first look at several of Kiawah River’s Architect Series plans. The sprawling blossoms and bright green lawns created a relaxing day outdoors for families and friends.  

Guests got a sneak peek of 13 homes under construction as they strolled through the market and neighborhood. Designed for outdoor living with all the desires of a modern life, the homes featured open floor plans, main floor masters and ample entertaining spaces. Deep porches and shaded garden levels beckon for an afternoon nap or an evening meal with friends.  

With Southbound 17’s country vocals serenading the park, visitors were entertained by local food trucks and lawn games as they gathered with others. The farmer’s market products and vendors included The Goatery, fresh eggs from Storey Farms, Kiawah River honey, Elderberry Syrups from Sea Island Organics, local artisan farm items and other Certified SC products.
