Spring House
Serving as the community’s gathering place, the Spring House is Kiawah River’s 9,000-square-foot swim and fitness center with a junior Olympic-sized family pool and an adult pool, a full-service kitchen and shaded bar with pool-side dining and programming that caters to a variety of preferences for health, fitness and recreation. In addition to its swimming pools and dining options, the ground floor features cabanas, a hot tub, an outdoor fireplace with lounge seating and a lower deck overlooking the Kiawah River while the second and third levels include men’s and women’s locker rooms with saunas and steam rooms and ample multi-purpose space for boutique fitness classes or intimate gatherings.
Kiawah River Farm
Welcome to Charleston’s first agrihood… a neighborhood that fosters farm-to-table living in a cooperative environment. Kiawah River Farm is a working farm partnership with local Johns Island farmers replete with goats, beef cattle, pigs, donkeys, chickens, bees, produce and flower fields. We strive to preserve the sea islands’ traditions and history, including its agricultural past.
Residents of Kiawah River are eligible to participate in Kiawah River Farm’s Community Shared Agriculture (CSA) program. The CSA offers a subscription to receive seasonal deliveries from the harvests of our community farmers.

Decades of land stewardship and meticulous planning provided a 20-mile network of nature trails connecting our parks and neighborhoods. Nestled along winding paths and adorned with cozy benches, each park reveals its own blend of tangible and intangible treasures.
Explore Oak Park’s inviting community tables, with grills and a cozy fireplace for oyster roasts and marshmallow s’mores. Wander through Jack Island Park, where benches beckon along winding nature trails encircling Jack Island Pond. Stroll the serene pathways of Old Friends Park, offering tranquil nature trails along the saltwater marsh and riverbend. At Sea Island Park, savor the outdoors while grilling at the picnic pavilion at sunset, or set off on adventures from the community kayak launch. The series of trails through maritime forests of live oaks and Spanish Moss meet marsh fields teeming with bird life, and glance along streams flowing to the river.
